The location was an abandoned garage. It was very dark with no electrical plugs. The intention was to create a dark mood for a male model.
I noticed the original tungsten lights hanging from the top and wondered what kind of light mood they create if they will still worked.
So I decided to use only one Bowens strobe that would simulate the original light source of the space.
We didn't have all the necessary equipment to hold the light right above the model, so I asked my colleagues to help me get the lights in the right position.
Fortunately we had a portable kit and a stand that helped us reach the goal. The umbrella was the perfect choice, with a balanced combination of difused light, while creating nice shadows for the body shape of the model.
